Amy Kellogg, National Director, United Arab Emirates

uae story amy kelloggYouth for Christ, in partnership with various churches in the United Arab Emirates, is looking for people who love teenagers, have a heart for the world, and openness to new adventures to work in various roles in youth ministry in the UAE.

I have been living abroad and working with youth in the Arabian Gulf for the past 12 years, and I can definitely attest to the fact that these are exciting times in ministry in the UAE! This region is unique for so many reasons – here are a few:

  • Over 80% of the population is represented by ‘expats’ from all over the globe – It’s truly a window to the world!
  • UAE sits right in the center of the 10/40 window
  • Less than 2% of the population considered Christ Followers (Operation World)
  • 25% of the population are under 18

For a quick taste of what ministry is like out here, visit the Arabian Gulf YFC website at http://agyfc.org.

There are two job opportunities for the upcoming school year of 2014-15:

  1. YFC UAE National Director, Al Ain UAE
  2. St. Andrews/YFC Youth Worker, Abu Dhabi UAE.
